لجنة اعتصام الجرحى وأسر الشهداء تواصل احتجاجها أمام معاشيق بعدن للمطالبة بحقوقها

واصلت لجنة اعتصام الجرحى وأسر الشهداء، اليوم الأحد، اعتصامها السلمي أمام بوابة معاشيق بالعاصمة عدن، مطالبة بصرف حقوق منتسبيها، وإطلاق الترقيات والمرتبات و المكرمات الخاصة بالعلاج والحج. و أكدت اللجنة أن الاعتصام سيستمر حتى الاستجابة لمطالبها المشروعة.
وشددت اللجنة في بيانها على ضرورة إيفاء رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي بوعده والمصادقة على قرارات ترقيات جرحى الشهداء والمعاقين من محافظات (عدن، لحج، أبين، الضالع)، والتي ما تزال عالقة في مكتبه منذ أكثر من سنة وثلاثة أشهر، دون تنفيذ.
كما طالبت اللجنة بتوجيه لإنشاء مدينة سكنية للجرحى المعاقين في المحافظات (عدن، لحج، أبين، الضالع، شبوة)، أسوة بتوجيهات الرئيس التي صدرت لجرحى المحافظات المحررة الأخرى، لضمان توفير حياة كريمة للجرحى وأسرهم.
و أكدت اللجنة أن هذه الوقفة الاحتجاجية تأتي في إطار الضغط السلمي للمطالبة بحقوق الجرحى و الشهداء، ولفتت إلى أنها لن تتوقف حتى تحقيق مطالبها المشروعة.

The Committee of Wounded Veterans and Martyrs’ Families continued its peaceful protest today, Sunday, in front of the Maashiq Gate in the capital, Aden, demanding the payment of their members’ entitlements, as well as the release of promotions, salaries, and benefits related to medical treatment and pilgrimage. The committee confirmed that the protest will continue until their legitimate demands are met.
In its statement, the committee emphasized the necessity for the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council to fulfill his promise and approve the promotion decisions for the wounded and martyrs from the provinces of (Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Al-Dhalea), which have remained pending in his office for more than a year and three months without implementation.
The committee also called for guidance to establish a residential city for the disabled veterans in the provinces of (Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Al-Dhalea, Shabwa), following the President’s directives issued to the veterans of other liberated provinces, to ensure a decent life for the wounded and their families.
The committee stressed that this protest is part of a peaceful effort to demand the rights of the wounded and martyrs and emphasized that it will not stop until all their legitimate demands are achieved.
